COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Upon completion of this training participants will be able to demonstrate the clinical practice of:

• Rapport building

• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication

• Identify the patients perceived presenting problem

• Identify the patients frame of reference

• Patient values clarification

• What does not work (i.e. identical treatment method for all patients is now recognized as inappropriate and in some cases even unethical.)
