2) Learners will complete the training equipped with terms and definitions that will help them discuss these identities with LGBTQ+ patients they are counseling to foster diversity, equity and inclusion.
3) Learners better understanding and define the unique life experiences LGBTQ+ people have, such as the use of perferred pronouns, intersectionality, mental health and substance use disorder issues.
4) Learners will be better equipped to provide counseling and support with the consideration of the whole person and the identities they carry.
